Art buffs will definitely be familiar with Banksy: a British artist who’s probably one of the most controversial and mysterious artists of our time. If you’re a fan of Banksy’s works, you might want to mark your calendars, as the famous Banksy art exhibition will be making its way to Singapore this year!

The Art of Banksy: Without Limits will be coming to Singapore this December 2024, after successful exhibitions in over 15 cities including Sydney, Amsterdam, Berlin, Budapest, Vienna, Warsaw, Seoul, Miami, Seattle and more. If you’re new to Banksy’s works, the artist is known for his highly political, satirical and thought-provoking graffiti art and installations—many of which are done in public spaces. One of his most famous (or infamous) pieces is the Girl with Balloon: the iconic painting that was shredded immediately after being sold at an auction.

The Singapore edition of the Banksy exhibition will feature some of the artist’s most iconic works, as well as some exclusive pieces created just for tour. The 1,200 sqft exhibition space will spotlight over 170 works, including originals, prints, photos, lithographs, sculptures, murals and video-mapping installations; all within an indoor setting.

Some of the art highlights you can expect include works from “Dismaland”, “Flower Thrower”, the “Phone Booth” sculpture, an “infinity room”, a Walled off Hotel-style entrance and more. Visitors will also have the opportunity to get hands-on and spray paint their very own t-shirt with a donation of $2 to the M.V. Louise Michel Organisation.

The Art of Banksy: Without Limits will be open in Singapore from December 2024 onwards, with the exact opening date to be announced soon. Tickets to the exhibition go on sale from 13th November 2024, 5pm onwards, but you can sign up to join the waitlist for exclusive pre-sale access here now. Tickets are priced from $27 per adult and $17 per child.
