With the COVID-19 situation still ongoing, it is unlikely that we will be able to leave our houses without face masks anytime soon. And while masks keep our community safe, it is pretty much a common consensus that they are sooo uncomfortable. They make it hard to breathe, fog up your glasses, and have even started causing a pollution problem.
But what if there is a mask out there that is not only completely reusable, but also makes breathing easier by purifying your air, making it cleaner and fresher?
Enter LG PuriCare Wearable Air Purifier. This battery-powered wearable employs two H13 HEPA Filters, the same filter used in LG’s home air purifying products, and releases filtered air through a three-speed fan that automatically detects and adjusts to the wearer’s breathing.
This lightweight “mask” has been designed after extensive facial shape analysis, and will fit snugly on any user’s face with minimal air leakage. What’s more, the mask’s case comes with built-in UV-LED lights to kill harmful germs and bacteria after each use.
When it is time for the filters to be replaced, the case automatically sends a notification LG ThinQ mobile app (Android/iOS) to remind its user to maintain the mask in optimal condition.
The LG PuriCare Wearable Air Purifier will be available in select stores in the fourth quarter of 2020.
