DBS/POSB is having a Ride for Free promotion, and if you are an existing holder of DBS/POSB cards, you already qualify to join! Simply log into your PayLah! app and join the programme during the pre-registration period from now till 31st August 2023 and you’re all set to go!
Here’s a step-by-step guide on how you can start earning your free transport rebates:
- Log into your DBS PayLah! app, or download the app here if you haven’t already
- Click on the ‘Rewards’ tab at the bottom menu bar
- Select the ‘Ride for Free with DBS/POSB Debit Cards’ promotion banner
- Tap ‘Join Now’ to pre-register for the promotion!
Once you’ve pre-registered, all you have to do is log into your PayLah! account on 1st September 2023 to view your Personalised Spend Goal and start accumulating spending on your DBS/POSB card(s)! Meet your own Personalised Spend Goal and you can receive up to $20 transport rebates in the form of cashback credited directly to your last active card, that can be used on bus/MRT rides via SimplyGo.
The promotion period will run monthly from 1st September 2023 till 31st January 2024, and restart on the 1st of each calendar month. Slots for the promotion are capped to the first 100,000 cardmembers each month, and you’ll need to pre-register again to join the promotion for each new month. At the time of writing, there are still more than 70,000 slots available, so fastest fingers first!

Qualified spending that will contribute to earning rebates include shopping at department stores, various clothing/electronics/cosmetics/home furnishing shops, online e-commerce stores, supermarkets and more. Note that transactions made before the date you registered for the promotion will not be counted towards your Personalised Spend Goal.
Participating cards that are eligible for the promotion include DBS Private Bank Visa Debit Card, DBS Takashimaya Debit Card, DBS Treasures Visa Debit Card, DBS Treasures Private Client Debit Card, DBS UnionPay Platinum Debit Card, DBS Visa Debit Card, HomeTeamNS-PAssion-POSB Debit Card, PAssion POSB Debit Card, PAssion POSB Platinum Debit Card and SAFRA DBS Debit Card.
