If you love carbs, you might want to save this new buffet spot in Singapore: you get to chow down on unlimited pizzas, pastas and more from just $32++ per person! Dough it Yourself is Singapore’s first-ever DIY pizza and pasta restaurant, where you get to create and customize your own dishes with unlimited toppings, and everything is free flow!
This new buffet concept is brought to you by the same folks at Brasiero, a popular steakhouse known for their steak frites and burgers with unlimited homemade fries. The DIY pizza and pasta buffet is a first in Singapore; and for 90 minutes, you get to feast on unlimited pizzas, pastas, potato gratin and salad from just $32++ per person.

There are 4 mains you can customise as part of the buffet experience: hand-stretched pizzas, gourmet pastas, fresh salad and baked potato gratin. Just pick your base and head to the self-serve toppings bar to start loading up on ingredients: sauces, vegetables, proteins and cheese. Thanks to the DIY concept, you get to enjoy only all your favourite toppings, exactly how you like it.

There’s over 20 different options available for you to choose from, including various sauce options like green/red pesto, tomato sauce or cream; sundried tomatoes, basil, olives, mushrooms, artichoke hearts, minced beef, smoked duck, tuna, turkey ham, chicken breast and more. There’s even different options for cheese, like parmesan, cheddar or mozzarella—and you’re free to take as much as you want. We’re told that they’re planning on adding more seasonal toppings to the DIY bar in the near future, including chef’s specials and seafood options too.

Once you’re done putting all your toppings on your pizza/pasta/potato gratin, just hand it over to the staff to bake for 3 minutes in their Italian oven. You’ll receive a token with a number, and they’ll call you to collect your dish once it’s ready. For salads, there’s no further baking required so you can enjoy it right away. There’s no limit to how many items you can DIY at one go, but we recommend making just 2 per round, so each item is fresh and hot for you to enjoy.

You can even top up for more premium toppings, like Burrata (+$8), Raclette Cheese (+$7) or Truffle Oil (+$3). There’s also extra complimentary condiments like olive oil, chilli oil, chilli flakes, oregano flakes, salt and pepper, for you to add to your dish.

If you’re picky about the ingredients that go in your pizza or pasta, you’ll definitely love this DIY concept; and while the toppings might not be the most unique, we liked how they’re all prepared fresh daily. Note that while the restaurant is not halal-certified, they use only halal-friendly ingredients. You can also enjoy unlimited self-serve fountain drinks for +$5 per person. Prices for the DIY buffet are as follows:
Weekday Lunch (Monday to Thursday) – $32++ per person
Weekday Dinner (Monday to Thursday) – $34++ per person
Weekend Lunch (Friday to Sunday) – $34++ per person
Weekend Dinner (Friday to Sunday) – $39++ per person

As a one-of-a-kind DIY pizza and pasta concept in Singapore, Dough it Yourself is a novel experience that definitely delivers on freshness and quantity—something kids and big eaters will love too. The DIY concept is pretty fun and interesting for first-timers, but is probably not something we’ll come back to experience multiple times. Another plus is that the food comes out pretty fast, as it only needs 3 minutes to cook in the oven, though we’re not sure if they’ll be able to maintain the same speed during peak dining hours. Taste-wise, the pizzas and pastas are tasty enough to satisfy that carb craving, but don’t expect mind-blowing flavours. If you’re someone who can eat a lot of pizza or pasta (we heard the record here is 5 whole pizzas in one sitting), this experience is sure to be a bang for your buck.
