Have you seen the viral TikTok trend of people sending wedding invites to their favourite celebrities and companies? The hope here is that these big names will deign to reply with a response, or perhaps even send over a congratulatory gift. Sometimes the companies/celebrities do respond; but more often than not, they don’t (understandably).
@samhale23 Will update on if anyone responds!! Im so excited. 🥰

One Singaporean TikToker recently decided to try her luck with this trend, and sent McDonald’s Singapore her wedding invite along with a “heartfelt letter”. Shockingly, she actually received a reply from them! Not only did McDonald’s respond to the invite, they even went above and beyond, sending her a congratulatory nugget “bouquet” in return!

The surprise gift came with skewered nuggets and curry/BBQ sauce tubs, all arranged to make a lovely “bouquet”, along with a sweet note to thank them for the invite and to congratulate them on their marriage!

Naturally, the TikTok video garnered lots of support from fellow TikTokers who were surprised that McDonald’s actually took the time to respond and send a gift. One also commented it was a sign to send letters to all of her favourite companies to see if they would reply.
If you’d also like to try your luck in receiving a surprise gift from McDonald’s, send your heartfelt letters to this address: Aperia Tower 2, 10 Kallang Ave #04-10/18, Singapore 339510. Who knows what McDonald’s will come up with next—a bouquet made of fries, or a giant burger cake maybe?
