Now the part you’re most curious about: the taste. Though visually striking with vibrant orange swirls, we were still pretty skeptical about the taste of this unique drink, especially if it would be overly acidic. And we’re happy to report that the drink is not too sour at all, but is actually pleasantly sweet, as the subtle citrusy flavour provides a good balance to the bitterness of the coffee. The slight zestiness from the orange juice also makes the drink that much more refreshing to gulp down, making for the perfect pick-me-up. We can totally see ourselves grabbing one of these in the morning to really help us wake up and chase away the grogginess.
This is also a great option for those who don’t really like the bitterness of coffee, but still want that caffeine hit. The Orange Americano tastes almost like drinking a fresh glass of orange juice, with a splash of smooth black coffee that’s not too strong, but just right.
