Buying organic and artisanal groceries in Singapore tends to cost a pretty penny, but did you know that there’s a place where you can grab as many gourmet products as you possibly can from just $10? MoNo Foods is a hidden grocery store in Chinatown with a unique fill-a-box concept, where you can stack as many items as you can in a box for a token fee from just $10!

MoNo Foods aims to raise awareness on food sustainability and combat food waste in Singapore, redistributing “still good” food items to customers at incredibly discounted prices through the novel Fill-A-Box concept at their grocery store! Simply grab your desired box size, each with a different price range indicated (eg. $10-$12, $12-$15, $15-$20 etc.) and fill it up with as many items as you wish!

You can stack and Tetris your items any way you like, as long as all the items fit into the box and are not overflowing, then make payment by contributing any amount within the price range indicated.

Items and brands available for purchase at the store vary continually, with new items added often. Look forward to quality and premium goods like vegan chocolate bars, European chocolate, quinoa chips, health/beauty jellies, coconut water, healthy snacks and cookies, specialty coffee, dips, yogurt, nuts, granola and much more.

It’s important to note that since the store is primarily a redistribution initiative, most of the items are nearing or have just passed their best by date, but are still completely safe for consumption; so only come down to purchase if you’re comfortable with buying such goods!
