Art jamming studios are aplenty in Singapore, but you ain’t seen one that is also a café at the same time! Asusual Café is a new art café concept in Singapore: boasting an aesthetic sunlit space that’s perfect for art jamming, and is also a fully fledged café where you can enjoy brunch, mains and drinks as you paint!
Whether you’re just there to grab some grub, paint, or both—Asusual is the place to be. The minimalist space is bright and airy, with tall windows to let in the natural sunlight, making it the ideal place to sit and paint on a sunny day.
The 2-storey space is home to a café on the first level, and an art studio on the second level. There are also communal tables on the second level for you to dine, or you could even eat and drink while art jamming as well!
Art jamming packages start from $35 per person or $65 for 2 persons (ie. $32.50 per person) for a 3-hour session. The art jamming package includes a 14 x 18 inch rectangle canvas, all painting materials and tools (acrylic paints, brushes, palette, apron, water etc.) and a carrier bag for you to bring home and store your art piece.
As for the café menu, look forward to all-day breakfast, brunch, mains and desserts like Thick French Toast with Strawberry Compote ($18), Brown Butter Buttermilk Pancakes ($20), Iberico Pork-Don ($22), Very Prawny Pasta ($25), Shabu Burger ($23), Truffle Pizza ($25) and more. Asusual also serves an extensive selection of various coffees, teas and beer to drink.
