1. Artbox 2018: Oasis

Back again for it’s 2nd edition in Singapore that’s 3 times bigger than last year’s, you can say that Artbox is almost like a hipster Chatuchak – there’ll be over 400 stalls available, with all sorts of quirky knick-knacks for sale, photo-worthy food, and a chill dining section decorated with beach umbrellas, artificial grass, and hammocks.

Of course, there’ll be plenty of fairy lights around, and unlike its weekend market counterpart, you can expect live performances by local musicians and a colourful foam pit filled with pool floats for you to hop on as well – bring a change of clothes just in case!

2. Toruk: The First Flight

Well-known all over the globe for their beautifully elaborate sets and acrobatic choreography, the award-winning Cirque du Soleil is back in Singapore with Toruk: The First Flight, their latest act that’s inspired by Avatar!
Set 3,000 years before the film’s timeline, the show follows three friends, Ralu, Entu, and Tsyal, who enlist the help from the great Toruk to save the Tree of Souls.

They’ll be in theatres for just a week from 24th May – 3rd June, so make sure you don’t miss your chance to get transported to the world of Pandora!

3. DBS Marina Regatta

Fitness fans, the highly-anticipated DBS Marina Regatta is finally here, and besides the adrenaline-pumping dragon boat matches, you’ll be able to challenge yourself with a “Ninja Warrior”-like obstacle course, enjoy free fitness and yoga classes, and try your hand at the creators market’s workshops!

Known as Battle Bay Extreme, it’s Southeast Asia’s first large-scale, high-intensity obstacle course that includes the infamous Wipeout bouncy balls, a six-foot wall, and inverted ladders.

Workshops on latte art and making your own superfood snacks and acai bowls will also be available, but here’s the highlight – DBS Live Fresh Cardmembers will be entitled to a 2-hour long sneaker customisation session with internationally-renowned sneaker artist, Mr Sabotage! Seats are limited, so book yours ASAP.

4. Cartoon Network Animate Your Life Festival

For those of you who are young at heart, head down to Singapore’s very first 16-day Cartoon Network-themed festival! Featuring the adorable characters from We Bare Bears, Adventure Time, The Powerpuff Girls, and Ben 10, the Cartoon Network Animate Your Life Festival will have carnival games, a giant maze, bouncy inflatables, and first dibs on the world’s first Cartoon Network-themed cruise.

5. Lion City Youth Jazz Festival 2018 Finale Concert

If you’re passionate about jazz music, book yourself a seat at the Lion City Youth Jazz Festival Concert 2018, where there’ll be performances by international jazz bigwigs such as 5-time Grammy award-winning Trumpeter and composer Randy Brecker.

6. Picnic After Hours: Silent Disco
