1. A Conversation With Carla Fernandez
Carla Fernández is known for documenting history and culture with fashion – not just through filmmaking. She combines fashion and history perfectly into her work which says as much about the latest trend in the fashion industry as well as the Mexican cultures and indigenous craftsmanship. ‘A Conversation With Carla Fernandez’ will allow her to share her approach to the fashion industry as well as how she was inspired by her country.

3. New Balance 580 20th Anniversary Pop Up
The New Balance 580 20th Anniversary Pop Up at SCAPE showcases limited edition designs from international collaborators who have stamped their mark on a timeless classic – Mita Sneakers, Stussy, Hectic, Undefeated, Colette, Wings + Horns, Balt, Packer Shoes, and New Era. There will also be a the launch of Mita Sneakers x New Balance MRT580 collaboration. Fans will also receive a special edition pair 3D printed lace locks with every purchase of the 580 at the pop-up gallery on 11th June Saturday.

4. Soak Out Water Party
Adrenaline-seekers can enjoy cutting-edge rides and attractions and take part in the all-new Soak Out Water Party with the Minions, Sesame Street friends and more at Universal Studios Singapore. From 13 June to 10 August 2016, visitors can immerse in a festive parade that runs through select zones in the park and have a splashing good time at the Lagoon Stage in the Hollywood zone with close to 50 characters and entertainers grooving to catchy music and engaging in water play fun. The party culminates in a water cannon blast, alongside high-flying aerialists who will give revellers a refreshing cool-down in the park. Visitors can continue to chill out in an evening after-party at the New York Public Library with live performances by DJ Inquisitive and the Good Karma band on select Friday and Saturday nights.

5. Tropical SEAfest
Cool off indoors at Tropical SEAFest in S.E.A. Aquarium and be intrigued by the latest fishy residents at three new thematic habitats – Hawaii, California and the Caribbean. Over 200 specimens from more than 40 species are featured in these new permanent exhibits. Visitors can marvel at the bright orange Garibaldis and California sheephead fish as they weave through swaying fronds of kelp in a habitat inspired by the underwater Southern Californian kelp forest. Another unique species featured at Tropical SEAFest is the threatened Rooster Hogfish, named for its pig-like snout and large protrusible mouth useful for finding prey on the sea floor. Kids can go on an educational Tropical Trail to discover more about the new underwater residents and get creative at the crafts zone.

6. The Old World Wine Mini Fair
The Old World Wine Mini Fair is hosted by Winefamily, bringing together specialist importers of French, Italian, Spanish, German and Portuguese wines for an afternoon of wine sampling and discovery. There will be over 30 wines to try, with each ticket including a $10 voucher that you can spend on bottles to take home. Each ticket also includes a $5 full pour token that you can use to get a little extra of a wine you love.Many of the wines that will be showcased are entirely new to Singapore, meaning this is a superb chance to find a new favourite.

7. Community Awareness Carnival by Nursing Home Foundation
In commemoration of their 40th anniversary, Home Nursing Foundation (HNF) will be taking on an active role to educate the public about home and community-based healthcare resources through a family friendly and educational event. Join the event for a fun filled day at the Community Awareness Carnival! During this two day event, where you will get to know more about community healthcare services by various organizations, including Home Nursing Foundation. There will also be health screening, massages, ageing experience activities and health talks. The carnival will have dance performances, magic shows, Mass Workouts, Zumba and many more that will engage and entertain you and your whole family.
