2. SkatePark @ Lakeside Garden
The biggest outdoor skatepark in Singapore is finally open, situated within the scenic confines of the newly developed Lakeside Garden. The 17,000 square metre space boasts 5 skate pods that are suited for both beginner and pro skaters.
Look forward to tackling the Skate Drain Pod, Mini Bowl Pod, Big Bowl Pod, Plaza Pod and more. There will also be a parkour park and bouldering wall at the skatepark, so there’s plenty to do even if you’re not a skater! After skating and sweating it out, head to The Ride Side Café for some fuel.

3. Sakura Floral Display
Not heading to Japan for sakura season? Catch the popular sakura display for its last weekend at Gardens by the Bay’s Flower Dome before it’s gone till next year! Revel in the beauty of the cherry and peach blossoms, and snap lots of pictures with the Torii gates and Sakura Train Station.
You’ll also be able to catch some of your favourite Pokémon characters at the Pokémon Forest, including Pikachu, Bulbasaur, Charmander, Squirtle, Eevee and Snorlax. You’ll also be able to enjoy some Japanese cultural activities like ikebana, drum performances and more.

4. Marquee
To celebrate Marquee’s 4th birthday, they’ll be having an Anniversary Weekender: Elysian featuring performances by Korean global stars PSY and Rain, as well as world-acclaimed DJs Timmy Trumpet and MaRLo.
Enter the mythical and luminescent realm of Elysium dressed in your best fit according to the theme “Luminous Glow”; think white, neon and anything UV. Tickets are sold out online but will be available at the door on 8th April itself from $90 per person, subject to club capacity.

5. Singapore Art Book Fair
Bookworms, this one’s for you. The Singapore Art Book Fair (SGABF) is coming back this 14th April 2023 at the Singapore Art Museum featuring various publishers, zine makers, printmakers, illustrators, distributors, galleries, small presses and more!
There will also be seminars, book launches, artist talks and panel discussions with both known and up-and-coming creatives should you be interested to attend. The SGABF is organised by Thing Books and admission costs $8 per person.

6. Rilakkuma Pop-up

7. ION Orchard Spring Garden
Be enchanted by the new 6-metre tall and 2-storey high outdoor waterfall installation at ION Orchard’s ION² this coming 7th April 2023! The whimsical garden pop-up will feature lush flora and fauna and will transform into a gorgeous wonderland of music, lights, sounds and colours.
The outdoor waterfall is set to be the largest of its kind, and will feature spectacular light shows happening over 5 weekends. The 8-minute light show will showcase beautiful and familiar soundtracks, mist effects, projections and more. Light shows will be happening between 7pm-9.30pm on Fridays to Sundays, with 30-minute intervals in between.

8. Geylang Serai Ramadan Bazaar

The annual Geylang Serai Ramadan Bazaar is bigger than ever this year, with 700 stalls, and it’ll be running for the longest duration to date: for a whopping 36 days! 9. Sneakertopia
The viral sneaker exhibition from LA has arrived in Singapore’s ArtScience Museum, featuring over 100 limited-edition sneakers from some of the most iconic brands, plus some 50 murals, installations, designs and displays about entertainment, sports, art, film and more!
Some highlights to look forward to at the exhibition is a larger-than-life replica of Adidas’ Superstars made entirely from cardboard and recycled wrappers, an all-green Supreme-inspired room filled with “raining” money, a huge 3D sculpture of the Air Jordan 1 that’s made up of deconstructed “floating” pieces and more!
