Nothing screams summer like some colourful refreshing iced drinks to beat the heat, and Luckin Coffee has just the thing for you—just in time for the summer season! Luckin Coffee is launching its new Luck in Summer series, and after trying them all for ourselves, we think they might just be the drinks of the summer.
The new Luck in Summer features an ultra-refreshing range of fruit-infused drinks that are made with real fruit juice: orange, pomelo, lemon—with zero-fat. You’ve already seen their Orange Americano: made with the juice of more than an entire orange, and if you loved that, you’ll definitely be intrigued by their new Fruity Americano Series!
Fruity Americano Series
There’s a total of 3 different citrus-infused drinks in the Fruity Americano Series. We’re not fans of coffees that are overly acidic, so we were a little worried that these citrus-infused Americanos would be too sour for our liking. However, we were pleasantly surprised at the taste: the robust coffee provides a good balance to the fruit juices, resulting in a smooth, subtly bitter and highly invigorating drink that even non-coffee fans can enjoy. If you want something a little sweeter, go for the Orange Americano; but for those who like a little more zestiness, the other two citrus flavours are sure to hit the spot.
Orange Exfreezo™
Don’t feel like having coffee? Luckin Coffee also has a new series of Exfreezo™: their version of extra cool, ice slushies. Our favourite has got to be the Orange Exfreezo™, a vibrant orange-hued concoction that contains more than 1.5 oranges and tastes exactly like how we would imagine a glass of ice-blended fresh orange juice would taste—absolutely crisp, sweet and refreshing with every sip.
Iced Minty Chocolate Exfreezo™
If you’ve got a sweet tooth, and you’re a mint chocolate fan, the Iced Minty Chocolate Exfreezo™ might just be up your alley. This one tastes just like a bar of mint chocolate in drink form, with a rich cocoa flavour and mintiness that’s not overpowering but fills the mouth with a delightful cooling sensation as you sip. You can also opt to add whipped cream on top at no extra charge!
Lush Coconut Exfreezo™
The Lush Coconut Exfreezo™ is one for coconut lovers, with a milky and creamy flavour profile that’s not too sweet. We also appreciated how the coconut tasted natural and fresh, not artificial in the slightest.
These Luck in Summer drinks will be available across all Luckin Coffee outlets in Singapore from 12th July 2024 onwards.
