There Is a Pizza ATM Machine in Singapore

Just when you thought food couldn’t get anymore accessible and convenient in Singapore, we found an ATM machine in Singapore that dispenses pizza.

Located at Boon Tat Street, this elusive machine works exactly like an ATM — except you don’t actually need a pin number. But there are buttons that replicate an ATM, as well as a dispenser to collect your pizza. There’s also apparently another pizza vending machine company which goes by the name SHIOK! Pizza. We’re not sure if they handle the one spotted at Boon Tat St as well, but the folks at SHIOK! follow the same format too.

All you have to do is choose between two pizza flavours, select whether you want your pizza hot (who doesn’t?), make payment with a card and wait about five minutes for your pizza to be dispensed. They cost about $12 each.

Sounds pretty simple and convenient; however, the downside is that you’re only limited to two flavours and can’t opt for customisation.

The pizza looks rather decent, and there’s even the cheese pull that would blow up your Instagram feed — but don’t take our word for it as we haven’t tried it yet.

What do you think? Would you give ATM-dispensed pizza a shot, and is such a technology even necessary?
