Bangkok’s night markets have plenty of unique and quirky eats: like dancing shrimp, raw squid shots, fried insects and more—but did you know they even have “tattoo” burgers that are “blessed” with actual talismans too?
Nakorn Mu Burger is located at the new JODD FAIRS DanNeramit, and they’re the world’s first and only Thai Tattoo Burger! From 179 baht (~$6.90 SGD) you’ll get a thicc burger stuffed with various ingredients and sauces, and the most interesting part is that your burger will be stamped with a custom seal or “talisman” of your choice!
There are 3 intricate designs you can choose from, each with meant for a different function; there’s one for wealth, charm and luck.
As a final touch before serving the burgers to you, they will even pray over your burger to bless them! The staff will chant “satu” (Thai for “amen”) as they pray and bless your food, wishing you good fortune, health and luck.
There are a couple burger options available, each with a distinct Thai flavour. You can choose from Tom Yum Kung, Chicken Khao Soi or Beef Khua Ling, just to name a few. Check out our experience and review of Nakorn Mu Burger here:
