If you’re a self-proclaimed milk tea addict, here’s a novel milk tea joint for you to try out instead of your run-of-the-mill milk tea shops. This one-of-a-kind milk tea spot is located in Taiwan—the mecca of milk teas—in the Feng Chia Night Market, and is not exactly a shop per se, but rather a “petrol kiosk” that dispenses tea instead of petrol!

The “petrol kiosk” is called 中原中飲自助飲料站, and is actually a self-service milk tea station, and you even get to “pump” your choice of tea yourself via the realistic “petrol gun”! Each “petrol gun” is even numbered 92, 95 and 98 respectively—much like the octane ratings at actual gas stations—each representing a different tea flavour.

You can pick from 3 flavours: Wintermelon Tea, Black Tea or Thai Tea, and prices for a 700cc cup start from a super affordable 35 TWD (~$1.50)! You can even choose how much ice you want, and use the “petrol gun” to dispense your choice of tea. Be careful while dispensing using the “petrol gun”, as it’s said to be quite sensitive.
