Sentosa Beaches Now Require Reservation During Peak Periods

Been thinking of heading to one of the beaches at Sentosa for some sun tan and volleyball? Now you’ll have to make a reservation to do so on weekends and Public Holidays!

Source

In light of safe-distancing, the three beaches at Sentosa – Tanjong, Palawan, and Siloso – have been segmented into seven zones, each with a capacity ranging from 100 to 350, and starting from 17th October onwards, guests will have to book online in advance for entry into these zones. Now you can plan your beach dates in advance and not have to queue up for entry!

Time slots run from 8am to 1pm and 2pm to 7pm.

Each guest will be able to make reservations for up to 5 people and will receive an email confirmation detailing their chosen zone and time slot if successful. On the day itself, wristbands will be issued upon entry – kind of like an amusement park or a concert.

If you are in the mood for sports, beach courts will also have to be reserved through the same system, with a maximum of 5 players registered at one time.

This system is introduced to enhance guest experience by minimising the time spent queueing for entry, as well as reducing crowds to maximise safety, and will be implemented as a 3-month trial with changes to be made if necessary.

The booking system will be available starting from 10th October through this link. Stay safe, and see you at the State of Fun!
