Super Steamboat is an underrated hotpot and BBQ restaurant located about 20 minutes away from the checkpoint that’s frequented by the locals, and they offer an all-inclusive buffet price of RM69 nett per adult (~$20 SGD nett per adult) that gives you access to all their buffet-style items: from raw meats, seafood, vegetables, hotpot ingredients, seafood on ice, cooked mains and seafood dishes, DIY waffles, bingsu, fountain drinks and so much more.

Unlike some other spots that charge extra for soup bases, condiments, sides, drinks and desserts, Super Steamboat does not; all these items are complimentary and already included with the buffet price, which makes it such a steal. For seafood lovers, you even get full access to their fresh seafood on ice bar with premium options like scallops, flower crabs, crayfish, razor clams, lala, squid and even freshly-shucked raw oysters!

They also open till 12am daily, which makes it a great option for those late-night hotpot and BBQ cravings. We’ve yet to try the buffet for ourselves, but judging from their 4.9 rating on Google, and at such an affordable price point, we might just have to head down to try it soon.
