The brand new One Punggol Hawker Centre opened back in late October 2022 to much fanfare, boasting a clean and spacious interior, over 34 stalls and 700 seats. But that’s not all, it seems One Punggol Hawker Centre is paving the way for the future of hawker centres with the addition of a robot barista to their drink stall!

Instead of your usual auntie or uncle making your drinks, One Punggol has a fully-automated robot arm that brews, mixes and pours all your cups of kopi and teh! While we’re not sure the kopi/teh will taste as good as the ones made by hand, one thing’s for sure—you’ll definitely be in for a good show whenever you come to order a drink!
