Ice cream fans, go wild. We found a store in KSL City Mall, Ice Dream, that sells a 30cm ice cream tower for RM 18.80 (~S$6.18).
Layered with six different ice cream flavours, this guilty pleasure also measures up to 30cm in height from the base of the cone. Think it’s all a gimmick? There’s a graph in store to measure if your rainbow tower is 30cm. If it’s not, you get another for free!
All flavours are imported from Hokkaido. There are six in total, so naturally if you get a tower, you get all six flavours. However, you’re free to mix and match as you please. So if you’re not a fan of taro and want to swap that out for another serving of seasalt, you’re more than welcome to. Or if you’re a matcha freak and want an entire matcha tower — be our guest.
If you’re not feeling an entire tower but still want to try all six flavours, a 6-flavour mixed ice cream cone is available at RM12.80 too (~S$4.20).
Other options on their menu include a 3-flavour ice cream at RM11.80 (~S$3.80) and single flavours at RM6.80 (~S$2.20) each.
Even if you’re not a fan of ice cream, give Ice Dream a try as their flavours are not too sweet. Those who like cheese can go for Hokkaido Milk as a pleasant cheesy aftertaste lingers; but the Matcha one might be a bit disappointing for those expecting an intense Matcha flavour. If all fails, the other flavours are relatively safe choices.
