For those of you who aren’t familiar with taxidermy, it is the practice of preserving deceased wildlife, turning them into beautiful and eternal works of art. The business of taxidermy is not as common in Singapore as it is in other parts of the world, and Black Crow may very well be the first commercial studio in Singapore that provides professional taxidermy services and workshops.
Almost any kind of wildlife can be taxidermied, from house pets, insects, larger mammals and more. Black Crow’s studio mostly houses displays of taxidermied butterflies and other small insects in-store, all of which were previously alive! Black Crow accepts custom orders for perservation of deceased pets, butterflies, flowers and more.
