Would you pay for the farts of your favourite celebrity? For popular ex-Twitch streamer Kiaraakitty, it seems that her fans will in fact pay for a jar full of her actual farts! After being banned from streaming on Twitch (for the fourth time, mind you) it seems Kiaraakitty has found another source of income, one that seems to be pretty lucrative indeed.
You might think selling (and buying) someone’s farts might be super weird, and kind of gross, but you’d be surprised. Despite being a highly novel and unconventional form of “merchandise”, Kiaraakitty’s fart jars have been selling pretty well—thanks to her loyal Twitch fans and supporters who have clearly missed her on the platform. So far at the time of writing, she’s sold some 50 jars, with her first sale of jars selling out within mere days!
But it seems Kiaraakitty’s fans are not the only ones who are snapping up her fart jars like hotcakes, we saw that even local DJ Jade Rasif is a happy customer of these unconventional jars, and turns out that she was actually Kiaraskitty’s first customer! If you’re curious to know how she manages to produce so many fart jars, Kiaraakitty says her secret to producing some of the best (and smelliest) farts is to eat plenty of beans, fried chicken and durian. However, even with all prep work, production for her fart jars is pretty slow, and she’s only able to make around 3 jars a day.
So how does one get their hands on these hot-selling fart jars? Details from Kiaraakitty’s site show that you can buy jar for a whopping $300 apiece. We also found out that the original price for each jar was previously just $20 each, but due to the insane demand for jars and the difficulty in producing them, she’s had to raise her prices.
As for other—ahem—items other than farts, Kiaraakitty also sells her used bathwater for $500, where you can “feel the warmth and presence of Kiara” from the bath water that she has actually bathed, farted in and “filled with her essences”. With such a steep price tag, you can be assured that you’re only getting Kiaraakitty’s genuine farts and essences, all carefully and tightly sealed in a bottle with love. The jars even come with an adorable branding: “Scents & Stuff”, plus a love note from Kiaraakitty herself.
