Heading across the border this week? The popular Siam Festival is back in JB for a limited time this June 2024! This edition of the popular Siam Festival is held outside Toppen Shopping Centre, located just 20 minutes away from the checkpoint.

Known as one of the “biggest” food events in Malaysia, Siam Festival boasts some 80 unique halal food and drink stalls, including 60 types of authentic Thai street eats, alongside viral Malaysian food items!

Some popular eats to look out for include seafood tom yum mama noodles, deep fried baby crab, moo ping skewers, XXL foot-long “rainbow” fries, egg-stuffed grilled squid, som tam, freshly-shucked oysters, coconut ice cream, air boba balang, mango sticky rice, meat-loaded pita wraps, sticky milk drinks, stretchy cheesy kunafe, lok lok and more.

Aside from eating, there are also retail shops you can browse, offering various apparel, shoes and toys. The festival is also kid and family-friendly, with fun activities like fishing games, mini car rides, character mascot meet & greets and inflatable bouncy castle. There’s plenty of tables indoors for you to dine-in, or you can make it a picnic by finding a spot on the grass!
