@derrickhohpa There’s this awesome Pokemon Pop-up exhibit happening at Marina Square. They’ve got these fantastic backdrops with blown-up cards from sets like Paradox Rift and Pokemon 151, perfect for some cool pictures. But the highlight for me was the Beginners Academy for their Trading Card Game. Now, my wife’s been schooling me in TCG at home, so I sneaked off to the Academy to up my game and surprise her. After the session, I realized I’ve been building my deck all wrong, but hey, I left stronger. Watch out, Jellies! And if that’s not enough, there’s a pop-up store with the coolest Pokemon merch – I might have splurged a bit. There’s a new Pokémon TCG Beginner’s Academy happening at Marina Square from now till end-December 2023, for all you aspiring Pokémon Masters to pick up a few tricks! Plus, these “training sessions” are completely free, no admission fee or spending required! Unfortunately, you won’t be getting a complimentary Pokémon card set along with your tutorial session, but you will be leaving with a couple of useful tips and tricks to use the next time you’re playing Pokémon TCG!

Sessions will run daily from 12pm to 7.30pm, with each session slot lasting 30 minutes. Participants who wish to attend the training session are to report to the event 15 minutes before the session’s start time.
