Pokémon fans will be ecstatic to know that this Christmas will be a Pokémon-filled one with super fun and exciting events, treats and performances lined-up at M Malls! The Pokémon festivities kick off at Jurong Point (JP2 Entrance right outside Boon Lay MRT), where you can catch the highly anticipated and super popular Pokémon Dance Parade featuring 3 new Pokémons: Sprigatito, Fuecoco and Quaxly.
These dance parades are free for the public to watch and will happen at Jurong Point’s JP1 Centre Stage (Level 1) and AMK Hub’s Atrium at the following dates and timings:
Jurong Point – 2nd to 4th December 2022, 3pm; 9th to 11th December 2022, 7pm
AMK Hub – 2nd to 4th December 2022, 7pm; 9th to 11th December 2022, 3pm
If you want to have a meet-and-greet and take photos with Pikachu, Eevee, Piplup, Sprigatito, Fuecoco and Quaxly, all you have to do is spend a minimum of $30 in a single receipt (limited to the first 20 per session)!
One of the three Pokémons Pikachu, Piplup and Snorlax will be roaming around the malls and so you can catch them for free photo ops if you happen to see them! These roving sessions will be happening every weekend from 19th November till 26th December 2022 at the following dates and timings.
The three new characters, Sprigatito, Fuecoco and Quaxly come from the highly-anticipated upcoming Nintendo Switch games, Pokémon Scarlet and Pokémon Violet. You’ll also be able to try out these new games first hand at the free game demo booths and also purchase the games at special prices!
The Pokémon Christmas pop-up event will also feature lots of IG-worthy sculptures and photo spots, such as a 2-metre tall inflatable Pikachu, inflatables of the new Pokémon characters, and a Pokémon Christmas tree!
From 22nd November 2022 onwards, fans will also get to enjoy exclusive merchandise from The Pokémon Centre, which will be the first pop-up retail store in the West area of Singapore.
Expect lots of exclusive Pokémon merchandise like trading cards, plushies, luggage covers, dishware, lifestyle goods and more—plus items featuring the three new Pokémons, Sprigatito, Fuecoco and Quaxly too! Hone your card trading skills with free Pokémon Trading Card Training sessions (4pm-6pm) held from 28th November till 25th December 2022. Participants of these sessions will also get a free pack of Trading Card Game (TCG) cards, limited to the first 1000 pax per mall.
If you spend a minimum of $30 in a single receipt, you can also participate in free daily Pokémon workshops like a nostalgic window cling art (2pm) or DIY badge-making (5pm) sessions. See the table below for the full list of events and activities, or see here for the updated schedule.
