If your Bangkok trip for this year got cancelled, the least you could do is treat yourself to some authentic Thai food to make up for it. Bring yourself and your travel buddies (less than 10 pax, please) to Phuket Town Mookata, a Thai barbecue stall in an Ang Mo Kio coffee shop that opened in February this year.
At this place, you’ll want to go for the Mega Meat Mountain, which consists of 1KG of marinated meat for just $39.90 nett. In the mix are XO Sauce Pork Belly, Garlic Pork Collar, Green Curry Chicken and Tom Yum Pork Collar. According to Phuket Town Mookata, this platter can serve up to 4-5 pax.
Apart from meat, also included in the platter are items such as Thai Fish Cakes, Cheese Tofu and Crab Sticks. Should you wish to just have a quick supper fix, the stall also sells Tomyum Mama Noodles ($13.90) after 10.30pm.
