Local female footwear retailer P.V.S. has collaborated with New Balance to launch a unique and modern rework of their ever-popular 996 sneakers. Sporting an expressive and distinctive look, the ‘9alactic 9irls 6rigade’ (Galactic Girls Brigade) sneakers embody a colourful paint-splatter layer atop the sneaker’s black base color – mimicking a galaxy-like print. In stark contrast to the eye-catching design, the iconic ‘N’ insignia remains sleek black.
The sneakers are encased in a golden-bronze shimmery and reflective box with the words ‘9alactic 9irls 6rigade’ boldly embossed across the front, while the interior features a hipster black-and-white caricature print – ensuring the vivid colours of the 996 sneakers stand out.
The P.V.S. x New Balance ‘9alactic 9irls 6rigade’ 996 Sneakers (SGD189) will be available in limited quantities from 27th February 2016 at P.V.S store located in Cineleisure.
