Malaysia’s ultra viral café chain, Oriental Kopi, has seen snaking queues from diners all over the region, with many Singaporeans making the trip early in the day just for this culinary favourite. Well, soon you won’t have to make the trip to JB to have Oriental Kopi, as they’ll finally be opening right here in Singapore!

The Singapore branch of Oriental Kopi marks the chain’s first-ever overseas venture, and they’re not looking to open just one branch, but a whopping 8 outlets within 3 years. The first Oriental Kopi Singapore outlet is set to open by Q3 2024 at “a prime location” that’s yet to be announced.

If you’re new to Oriental Kopi, here’s a little introduction: the brand is most famous for their signature Oriental Kopi—naturally—a rich Nanyang-style coffee brew made from a “golden ratio” of premium Arabica, Robusta and Liberica beans. They’re also popular for their iconic and award-winning custardy egg tarts. The full Singapore menu has yet to be confirmed, but diners can definitely look forward to new Singapore-exclusive menu items as well.
