Mr. Onigiri started as a humble home-based business back in 2019, when Mr. Onigiri’s founders fell in love with the onigiri they had for breakfast everyday during their trip to Okinawa, Japan. Once they got back home to Singapore, they jumped right into R&D and started selling artisanal onigiri from home.

Thankfully, business took off and Mr. Onigiri’s unique onigiri saw growing popularity among customers. Finally, fast forward to the present: Mr. Onigiri has finally opened its very first physical store—a modest takeaway joint where you can grab and go hearty onigiri from a window!

The onigiri are also priced super affordably, starting from a very pocket-friendly $3.90. Mr. Onigiri specialises in unique onigiri flavours that are influenced with a local twist. Think flavours like: OtakOtak Onigiri ($5.90), Spam with Onigiri ($3.90), Signature Melty Cheesy Crispy Chicken ($5.90), Teriyaki Fried Tofu Onigiri ($4.90) and more.
