On the creation of the new Shin Ramyun x Jay Fai flavour, we found out that researchers from Nongshim personally visited the iconic Jay Fai restaurant in Thailand to taste the food and learn her techniques before heading back to Korea to develop the product and try to achieve the most authentic flavour possible.

The new flavour comes in both soup and stir-fried (dry) options, and you cook it just like you would any other instant noodle packet, with the addition of an extra sachet of tom yum paste. The flavour itself is said to be a fusion between Jay Fai’s Tom Yum taste and the iconic Shin Ramyun flavour. Unfortunately, this exclusive flavour is only available in Thailand for now, but we’re sure it’ll be made available online in Singapore soon enough—or if you have friends heading to Thailand soon, you can always ask them to bring some over!
