Love the convenience of instant noodles? Then you’ll want to keep your eyes peeled for Nissin’s latest creation, Cup Noodle Fried Rice with Mystery Meat.
Before you start thinking the mystery meat is a gimmick, relax — it’s essentially seasoned minced pork with a soybean mix. On top of the meat, there’s also green onions, eggs and Nissin’s signature soy sauce that tastes similar to the brand’s cup noodle line.
To cook the fried rice, simply pop it in the microwave or stir fry it for a deeper flavour. If you like, you can add in other ingredients as well — maybe seafood?
Unfortunately, the Nissin Cup Noodle Fried Rice will only be on sale in Japan’s Kanto-Koshinetsu region starting 1 March. While we’ll patiently wait for it to hopefully arrive in Singapore, this product will definitely be a lifesaver for many, including frugal university students and office workers on a rush.
