There’s a new affordable Muslim-owned taqueria in town, and it’s opened by the folks at none other than Wooly’s Bagels! Say hello to the new kid on the block, Bored Tacos, located along Joo Chiat Road and serving up affordable Mexican fare at affordable nett prices.

Bored Tacos is a pretty small space, but it packs a punch with its quirky retro-inspired interior splashed with bright hues of orange, yellow and blue. They’ve also got a couple of quirky and furry tiger rugs decorating the walls that add to the vibiness of the space. There’s also limited standing tables available indoors if you want to dine-in.

Bored Tacos does not charge GST or service charge, with menu items starting from just $9.90 nett. You can also help yourself to their selection of unlimited assorted hot sauces. On the menu are classic Mexican fare like tacos, burrito bowls, burritos, nachos and quesadillas. Highlights from the menu include Birria Beef Tacos (from $14.50), Garlic Prawn Tacos (from $16), Chilaquiles ($13.90), Loaded Nachos ($13.50), Cajun Chicken Burrito ($10.90) and more.
