You’ve seen and loved the unique vegetable-shaped bread from the viral Korean bakery in Singapore, and we found yet another spot where you can get adorable vegetable-inspired buns, only for a limited time!
Swish Rolls is a popular bakery known for their unique Swiss rolls and croissants—and they’ve just launched a new vegetable series of buns that are handcrafted to look like actual veggies! There’s 7 different “vegetables” you can choose from, with buns that resemble familiar vegetables you love (or hate) like carrots, eggplants, tomatoes, mushrooms, leeks and potatoes.

The vegetable-shaped buns are filled with different sweet or savoury fillings, and surprisingly most of the fillings for each bun don’t really correspond to the actual vegetable itself. The Mrs Carrot ($4.50) bun is in fact, not filled with carrot-flavoured filling, but orange cream cheese instead. While the Little Miss Tomato ($4.50) is stuffed with strawberry cream cheese filling instead of savoury tomato.

Our favourite buns from the series are the savoury options, especially the Mr Russet Potato ($4.50) that’s stuffed with mashed potatoes and chunks of savoury chicken sausage. We’d reckon that this would taste much better after being heated up slightly in an airfryer or microwave. For the sweet buns, we also liked the rich, semi-sweet and subtly bitter Valhrona dark chocolate filling of the Shiitake-San ($4.50). Sweet potato fans will also like Mdm Eggplant ($4.50), that’s chock full of chunky sweet potato filling, without being overly sweet either.
Each vegetable-shaped bun is priced at $4.50, but if you get the full set of 7 buns for $29.80, you get to save a little bit on each bun. These quirky vegetable buns are available exclusively at Swish Rolls’ Paragon outlet for a limited time only, till 10th November 2024.
