Getting bored of town? Fret not — an exciting new shopping mall, GR.ID, is slated to open at Selegie Road. It’s projected to take over POMO, adjacent to schools like Singapore Management University (SMU) and School of the Arts (SOTA), and is anticipated to house an eclectic range of dining and F&B retailers.
Exact tenants have yet to be revealed, but according to our source, we can look forward to emerging independent brands, speakeasy bars and Instagrammable restaurants and cafes. Fitness tenants will also be brought on board. We’re thinking all that’s in the rage now: boxing, spin classes, and circuit training.
Foodies can also anticipate a Makan Street with delightful F&B offerings!
Visits to the washroom may also take longer, as the mall would transform the way public toilets look. Think chic Instagrammable mirrors, bright colours, and a pop art-looking communal sink.
Students would be particularly pleased to know that the mall will also carry several spaces to hang out in between classes or after school.
Details of when GR.ID will open has yet to be released, stay tuned for more updates!
