Dubai Chocolate Cheesecake, $24.50
queic’s newest Dubai Chocolate Cheesecake is set to be launched very soon, from 19th April 2025 onwards, and is also an exclusive item that’ll be available only at their upcoming Jewel outlet.
The Dubai Chocolate Cheesecake ($24.50) features a 4-inch tart-esque cheesecake that’s prepared fresh daily with housemade ingredients. Inside: a crust of chocolate almond sablé, layered with in-house pistachio paste, toasted kataifi dough, quiec’s signature 70% chocolate cheesecake and finally, topped with ground pistachio crumbles.
If you’re not a fan of pungent cheesecakes, rendition is great as the cheese flavour is more subtle. Instead, we found that the chocolate taste is much more pronounced, something that chocolate lovers will definitely enjoy. As for the addition of kunafa itself, we liked how the crunchy kataifi bits added a textural contrast to the otherwise gooey chocolate cheesecake layer; though we would’ve liked it if the pistachio flavour was richer.
For $24.50 apiece, this cheesecake is definitely on the pricier end, and is definitely a treat made for sharing (though it’s meant to be “single serve”), given how indulgent and dense it is. You can enjoy quiec’s new Dubai Chocolate Cheesecake from 19th April 2025 onwards exclusively at their upcoming Jewel Changi Airport café, set to open on 14th April 2025.
