Making the shift from an online-only bakery to an official brick-and-mortar dine-in store, the revered Tigerlily Patisserie now showcases a 20-seater botanical-themed space in vibrant green and yellow. Complete with a variety of regular and plush sofa-seating options, this café incorporates a variety of textures in the form of wood and other textile materials.
Head by ex- pastry commis at three-Michelin-starred Les Amis, ex-pastry junior sous chef in the now-defunct three-starred Joël Robuchon Restaurant at RWS, and ex- pastry chef of one-Michelin-starred Vianney Massot Restaurant, Tigerlily Patisserie is run by 29-year-old Maxine Ngooi, and renowned for its immaculate blend of European and Asian techniques.
Serving a diverse selection of breakfast and brunch items, alongside an array of crafty desserts, Tigerlily Patisserie is best known for their $15 grilled cheese Croque Monsieur with brie, comte, emmental, chorizo and kimchi known as the ‘Monsieur Kim’, the $14 house-cured salmon gravlax, and $18 Build Your Own Big Brekkie.
Other offerings include a $7 Tomato & Artichoke Tart, $8 Asparagus & Leek Tart, $8 Mushroom Bacon Quiche, $8 Garlic Herb & Cream Cheese Babka, $11 Chitose Strawberry & Elderflower Tart, $8 Lemon Thai Basil Tart, $9 Forest Berry Taco, and $10 tennis-ball-shaped Pistachio Marimo.
