If you’re a chocolate and dessert lover like us, you’re probably going to want to bookmark this upcoming food festival in Johor Bahru! Dubbed as the Chocolate Festival, this new mega food and entertainment bazaar is set to be a haven for foodies and sweet tooths! The Chocolate Festival boasts over 65 vendors, including F&B stalls offering viral street eats, lots of desserts, chocolate treats, thrifting shops, clothes, accessories, collectibles and more.

If you love sweets, the event is set to have desserts and chocolate treats aplenty: molten chocolate lava cakes, chocolate-doused kunafe, chunky layered cakes, souffle pancakes, jelly desserts, croffles, mini cheese tarts, chunky cookies, donuts, tanghulu sticks, chocolate-drenched brownies, sticky chocolate drinks, specialty coffee and much more. Aside from sweets, there’ll also be savoury items like loaded meat sandwiches, loklok skewers, meatball noodles, takoyaki, fried chicken, grilled seafood, smashed burgers, sweet potato balls and loaded hotdogs, among others.

There will also be ample live entertainment happening throughout the night, including free live concerts by local artists, DJs and live bands, plus activities like exotic farm animal shows, fresh flower arrangement sessions, traditional folk games, pantomime shows and face painting. The Chocolate Festival will be happening from 29th August till 1st September 2024 at Tebing Bandar Dato’Onn, less than 20 minutes away from the checkpoint.
