Hortus is the newest addition to the Flower Dome at Gardens by the Bay, taking over the space that was once Fennel Café. Stop by Hortus for brunch or afternoon tea, followed by a leisurely stroll through the blooms in the Flower Dome.
Hortus serves up the bright, fresh flavours of the Mediterranean with sharing plates of salads, dips, freshly baked breads, tagines and rustic grilled dishes. Look forward to Mediterranean fare such as Muhammara Dip ($10), Blue Mussel Escabeche ($30), Fremantle Octopus ($32), Lamb Tagine ($25) and more.
For dessert, don’t pass up on their selection of homemade cakes from the display (varies daily). Make it an event with a glass of wine (from $16) or one of their handcrafted cocktails ($14 each) such as Earl’s Old Fashioned or In Love with Rosemary.
Note: Hortus patrons are granted personalised buggy service to the restaurant from Gardens by the Bay’s arrival plaza (every 5 minutes) as well as complimentary access to the Flower Dome.
