Singapore’s beach experience is about to get a mega refresh with the new beach carnival experience that’s slated to open in Sentosa come September 2022!
Dubbed the Central Beach Bazaar, the unique day-to-night beach carnival promises to be the go-to destination for all your beach trips! There will be exciting attractions at the bazaar happening all day long that’s sure to wow audiences of all ages.
Naturally, we can’t miss out on good food while at the beach, so the Central Beach Bazaar will house an eclectic casual dining concept called the International Food Street, where you’ll find 8 different F&B concepts in unique forms like food trucks, kombi vans and upcycled shipping containers. The food stalls will present various cuisines inspired by iconic cities like London, Tokyo and Mexico; and the best part is—they’re all super affordable, with nothing over $10!
The most notable addition to the bazaar is the iconic Sentosa Musical Fountain from the 1980s that’s making a grand comeback this September! Sentosa brings you a modern and refreshed version of this water show with 5-minute performances of some of Singapore’s favourite National Day songs like Home and Count on Me Singapore; as well as musical classics like Walking on Sunshine and more!
The Central Beach Bazaar will also house Southeast Asia’s tallest water fountain, the Sentosa SkyJet, that stands at a whopping 80-metres tall! Here you can watch a spectacular symphony of water jets, colourful laser light projections and pyrotechnics that’s sure to wow the whole family. Entry to watch the Sentosa Musical Fountain and Sentosa SkyJet is free when you spend a minimum of $5 at the International Food Street.
