Boasting authentic Chengdu dishes and mala spices, the outlet in JB is the first in the whole of Malaysia! Skewered ingredients are kept fresh and chilled in large refrigerators, and it’s entirely up to you to pick whatever you like before it’s boiled and soaked in mala broth.
Some of the ingredients available include the usual mala favourites like quail eggs, lotus root, mushrooms, and luncheon meat.

Each stick costs just RM1 (approximately SGD$0.33), and the soup base costs RM$10.90 per pot (about SGD$3.60). Like most mala places, you can choose from 3 levels of spiciness, and to further enhance the fragrance of your soup base, you can ask for an extra serving of dry spices for just RM3.90 (about SGD$1.30).
Some of the sides include bean sprouts, tripe, clams, and brown sugar glutinous rice cakes! Source: @xiaojing_90
