You can find this unbelievable omakase deal at TORIO, as part of their limited time Festive Omakase menu featuring 8 courses in total, including an entire tray of Hokkaido uni. The omakase course is priced at $88++ per person, and highlights some of the best seasonal delicacies from Hokkaido, one of which includes their uni.
Hokkaido Don
The star of the whole omakase course has got to be the specially curated Hokkaido Don, a rice bowl that’s topped with an assortment of seafood like snow crab, albacore tuna, botan ebi shrimp, scallop, white fish and ikura. To top it all off, the don is finished with an entire, full tray of uni.
We’re told that each tray has about 50g of uni, and the trays are specially flown in just for this omakase course, while stocks last. With such a generous portion of uni, we were naturally skeptical about the quality, but we’re happy to report that the uni was fresh, rich and creamy, with a beautiful bright orange-yellow hue.

If you prefer a more sushi-centric omakase experience, this course might not be your cup of tea, as there’s no nigiri included. But if you’re here for the uni, you’re at the right place, and you’ll definitely get a bang for your buck.
The Festive Omakase ($88++ per person) is available for both lunch and dinner seatings, from now till end-December 2024 for now. We’re told that the omakase and full uni tray promotion might be extended if there’s sufficient demand for it; but for now, you can enjoy this amazing uni deal while it lasts!
