There’s plenty of thrift stores in Singapore, but this new multi-concept thrift store has much more to offer than just clothes. Thryft is a popular online thrift store in Singapore, and they’ve just found a new home with Thryft Hub, a massive 3000 sq ft space filled with pre-loved and new items from as low as just $3.90 each!
The spacious yet cosy store gives off homey vibes, with high ceilings and various spots with seating for you to chill out at. If you’re a frequent thrift store goer, you probably know how cramped, dust and hot some thrift stores can be, and we’re happy to report that the new Thryft Hub is nothing like that. There’s plenty of room for you to roam freely and explore the store’s various offerings in a clean, relaxing and well-curated environment.
The space boasts over 2000 items displayed in-store, with an extensive collection of clothes, books and vinyl records. Prices are also kept pretty affordable, with books starting from $3.90, clothes from $8 and vinyl records from under $20. The layout of the store makes it a breeze to shop for what you want: clothes are arranged by type and colour for easy access, books are clearly marked and separated into various genres, while popular vinyls are showcased on a floor-to-ceiling wall display.
For vinyls, you’ll find records from popular artists like Taylor Swift, Bruno Mars, Ariana Grande, Beyoncé, Elvis, Dua Lipa and more; along with other genres like classical, funk/soul, hip hop, reggae, jazz, blues and rock, just to name a couple. If you find a record you like and want to test it out, just ask the staff for assistance and you can play the vinyl on the turntable for free!
They’ve got lots of books for fantasy, crime/thriller, fiction, philosophy, business, biographies/memoirs, pop culture, singlit, politics, art, travel and more. We even spotted a couple of popular and best-selling titles from authors like Colleen Hoover, J.K Rowling and Rick Riordan.
If you’re looking for something a little more special, head to their hidden section for rare and vintage book titles and vinyl records that you can add to your collection.
You’ll be able to find clothes like jeans, athleisure, shorts, tshirts, blouses, polo shirts, graphic tees, shorts, dresses, suit jackets, pants and skirts on display. However, we found that the selection and style of clothes offered aren’t as trendy as other thrift stores in Singapore—but that’s not to say you won’t be able to find some hidden gems here if you look hard enough! There’s also one fitting room available if you’d like to try on the clothes before buying.
We especially liked how all the items in-store are well maintained, clean and in good selling condition; so if you’re looking for a place to shop well-curated books, vinyls and clothes, Thryft Hub is a good place to start.
