ABC886 Thai Food & Mookata is a new mookata joint tucked away within the Sakae Building at Tai Seng, and they have both air-conditioned indoor as well as outdoor dining areas. The outdoor area even has charming French-inspired rattan chairs, which is a unique touch we’ve never seen in any other mookata spot in Singapore. ABC886 offers a pocket-friendly buffet for just $19.90 nett, with no GST or service charge, and you can enjoy free flow items like oysters, crabs, scallops, prawns, squid, razor clams, mussels, sliced fish, marinated beef, pork, handmade meat balls and all your usual mookata offerings too.

On top of all the mookata items you can cook yourself, they also have a snack bar offering a rotating selection of cooked foods, snacks and desserts—all free flow as well. Some of the items from the cooked food station include unlimited Thai basil pork rice, handmade Thai meatballs, handmade fried wontons, fried calamari, fried Oreos, pumpkin pie and fries; and the items offered differ daily.

The $19.90 nett mookata buffet is available daily (except Mondays) for a dining limit of 2 hours. We haven’t had a chance to try the buffet out for ourselves, but we’ve seen plenty of customers raving about their soup online, and with a Google rating of 4.9 out of 5, we reckon it’s worth a try the next time you’re craving mookata for supper.
