There’s plenty of food bazaars going on in JB right now, especially because of Ramadan, but there’s one particular bazaar that has caught our eye—they’re known for having massive BBQ seafood shellouts, with prices from RM25 per plate.

You’ll find this particular seafood BBQ stall at Bazar Ramadan Taman Suria, located less than 30 minutes away from the checkpoint. The stall is operated by Ikan Bakar No1 JB, a popular seafood specialty restaurant in JB, known for their fresh BBQ seafood offerings. For a limited time, you’ll be able to enjoy their seafood offerings at the bazaar, including a variety of jumbo seafood options and seafood fried rice, all at relatively affordable prices.

You can’t miss the stall, as with the grill piled with an array of seafood. All you have to do is pick the seafood you want and they will BBQ it to order and top it with your choice of sauce, like sambal or buttermilk sauce.

Prices for seafood items start from RM25 (~$7 per plate), and some of the menu items available include:

The Bazar Ramadan Taman Suria is ongoing for a limited time, until 28th March 2025. If you missed the seafood BBQ at the bazaar, not to worry: the Ikan Bakar No1 JB restaurant will be operating as usual, and it’s located about 40 minutes away from the checkpoint.
