Perched on the 70th floor of Swissôtel The Stamford is SKAI, a contemporary Japanese-influenced restaurant boasting gorgeous sky-high penthouse views of the city below. This June, SKAI will be offering a special art-inspired high tea set that you won’t want to miss, inspired by the picturesque landscapes of Mount Fuji.

Brought to you in partnership with ARTiSTORY and the Museum of Fine Arts in Boston, SKAI presents a gorgeous Katsushika Hokusai-inspired High Tea, featuring handcrafted items that belong in an art exhibition. Drawing inspiration from the iconic landscape print series by Japanese ukiyo-e artist, Hokusai, titled “Thirty-six Views of Mount Fuji”; the high tea set sees various shapes and motifs from the prints themselves—Kanagawa waves, Mount Fuji, cherry blossom petals and more.
Expect an artful selection of sweets and savouries, each carefully crafted by hand: Celeriac, Eel, Cauliflower, Chocolate Fuji, Vanilla Cloud Mousse, Matcha Santo Sandwich and more. The entire set is also served in a pretty 3-tiered cherry blossom display stand. Each set comes with your choice of TWG Tea or Gourmet Suzuki Coffee. For the full high tea menu, see here.

Aside from enjoying a beautiful high tea set, guests can also look forward to an IG-worthy photo spot at SKAI’s iconic foyer staircase, decorated to resemble the famous “Under the Wave off Kanagawa” artwork. The Katsushika Hokusai-inspired High Tea ($68++ per adult) is available from now till 1st July 2023 from 3pm to 5pm daily.
