You’ve seen the iconic Mahjong sets that Louis Vuitton has released in the past, from like the jade Mahjong set and the set that resembles a jewellery box—all of which have been highly popular and sold out in a flash.
If you didn’t manage to get your hands on one of Louis Vuitton’s gorgeous Mahjong sets, not to worry: they will be releasing a brand new Vanity Mahjong Trunk very soon that’s just as gorgeous (if not even more) than the previous editions!
The new Louis Vuitton Vanity Mahjong Trunk ($85,500) comes in a classic monogrammed trunk that closes in on itself and is super portable, so you can easily carry it around for all your mahjong games, or even as an accessory.
The inside of the trunk is in a rich pine green shade, and comes with 6 compartments to contain all 149 artisanally-decorated Mahjong tiles. The tiles themselves are a work of art on their own: handcrafted from walnut wood and engraved with LV’s monogram flowers. The Louis Vuitton Mahjong Set will be available for purchase in Louis Vuitton stores in Singapore this August 2022.
