Following the success of their first K-Market Festival, Market Blue is bringing back the ultra popular K-Market Festival this month, and it’s bigger and better than ever!
Over 30 famous Korean brands
Now known as the K-K Market Festival, you’ll see some 30 over popular Korean brands for fashion, food, beauty, lifestyle, kids and more! Unlike the festival’s first edition, this time it’s much bigger, with the festival space being extended to Tanglin Mall’s B1 atrium and even to L1 as well!
Since the stalls are slightly more spread out, we hope that it won’t be as cramped as the last round, especially once the market gets crowded. Here’s some of the best stuff you can expect when you head down:
Korean street food galore
What’s a festival without some (or lots) of good food? The K-Market delivers yet again on this front, with vendors selling various ready-to-eat F&B items, as well as hot food items from just $2!
Some of the street snacks you can get include assorted tanghulu, or candied fruit skewers (from $6), tteokbokki ($4), cheese sticks ($2), chicken skewers ($8), hotteok ($4) and more!
They’ve also just launched a new gimbap store, Futoru with chunky and healthy high-protein, low-carb options (from $10) like salmon, beef bulgogi, egg and tuna, to name a few.
To speed up the payment process, you’ll first need to purchase tokens in order to buy the street food. 1 token = $2; and you can buy them in a bundle of 10 tokens = $20. The food items are self-service, simply drop your tokens and pick up what you want!
Famous Korean Bakeries
Remember the Korean Bakery pop-up that happened earlier this week? The event went ultra viral unfortunately, and they had to stop the pop-up early due to lack of ingredients, much to the disappointment of many.
The good news is: they’ll be coming back once again for the entire duration of the K-K Market Festival, at Level 1 of Tanglin Mall, so you can finally get your hands on the viral K-Apple breads, cream buns and more! If you’re not sure what’s good at the bakery pop-up, check out our guide here.
Popular fashion & beauty brands
If you absolutely love K-fashion, you’ll definitely be excited about the fashion vendors at the festival! There are lots of vendors selling apparel like Scallop, Taze, Kirsh, K_Fashion_C and more.
Snag some trending Korean bags, lifestyle goods and accessories from brands like Avéc, Diff, Abode, The Moon Jar, Art Kitchen.
Beauty lovers will also be spoilt for choice, with well-loved Korean beauty brands for makeup, hair and bath, including BBDL x LITY, Dashing Diva, Huxley and TS Shampoo, among others.
