Affordable high tea in Orchard that’s easy on the wallet? Try Gyutan-Tan, Singapore’s first-ever ox tongue specialty restaurant that’s just opened their second outlet at Takashimaya, with a new outlet-exclusive high tea set for just $21++ per person!

The new outlet boasts an aesthetic Japandi-inspired interior that’s perfect for an afternoon high tea affair spent lounging away with your besties. Only available at the Takashimaya outlet is their new Afternoon Tea Set ($42++) that serves 2 persons, which works out to just $21++ per person! The set is limited to just 10 sets per day, and features a seasonal assortment of savoury and sweet items.

Expect tantalising Japanese delights like mini gyutan sliders, egg & ham sandwiches, fruit sandos, fruit mochi, homemade egg pudding, dango, cakes and more. The Afternoon Tea Set will be available daily from 3pm to 5.30pm. Also on the afternoon teatime menu is the Matcha Fondue ($20++) that’s served with a selection of seasonal Japanese fruits and snacks that you can dip into melted matcha white chocolate.
