Back in July, we talked about the new Central Beach Bazaar at Sentosa: fast forward two months later and the highly anticipated Beach Bazaar and day-to-night carnival is finally open to the public! The new Central Beach Bazaar promises family-friendly fun for everyone, perfect for weekend family trips, gathering between friends, dates and everything in between!
One exciting highlight from the bazaar is definitely the brand new Sentosa SkyJet, standing at a whopping 80-metres tall (that’s a 24-storey building!), the SkyJet is poised to become one of Singapore’s iconic landmarks as the tallest fountain in Southeast Asia. Watch the SkyJet transform from a magnificent fountain during the day to a luminous water show with colour-changing LED lights! Daily operating hours for the SkyJet are as follows: 10am-5pm, 5.30pm-730pm and 9pm-10pm. You can watch the SkyJet for free or spend a minimum of $5 at the International Food Street to gain entry to the main viewing gallery for the best views of the fountain!
The famed Sentosa Musical Fountain also makes a comeback with two enthralling 5-minute shows: a tribute to the 1990s with musical numbers like Don’t Let the Sun Go Down on Me and Walking on Sunshine, as well as a more modern medley of fan-favourite National Day songs like Home and Count on Me Singapore. The Sentosa Musical Fountain has two shows per hour and operates daily from 11am-5pm. Get free entry to watch the Musical Fountain with every $5 spent at the International Food Street.
What’s a carnival without some grub? Head to the International Food Street for some much-needed fuel as you traipse around Sentosa’s latest attractions! The food street boasts 8 unique F&B concepts, all decorated Memphis-style in food trucks, kombi vans and upcycled shipping containers. The food is all also served in handy grab-and-go containers/packaging for convenience. The best part is, the food are also sold at pocket-friendly prices—all under $10, with options like Tom Yum Noodles ($6.80), Tandoori Chicken Tortilla (from $7.80), Paneer Kathi Roll ($7.80) and many more!
The fun is not over yet, as Sentosa is planning to roll out simulator rides and carnival games by the end of the year to add to the fun! Look forward to a thrilling Power Boat Racing simulator ride plus classic carnival games like Lobster Pot where you can stand to win mega prizes like giant plushies!
Let’s not forget the ever-popular Wings of Time light and music show happening every night: the show now operates at full capacity and can welcome an audience of 2,750 guests per show! For the best view, skip the queue and opt for premium seats ($23) or go for the standard seats ($18). Wings of Time ticket holders also enjoy complimentary entry to view Sentosa Musical Fountain and Sentosa SkyJet during the day. Book your Wings of Time tickets here for 10% off.
