Talk about a boujee brunch affair: you’ve seen the Hermés omakase in Singapore, now there’s also a new Hermès café in town where you can shop and dine at the same time! Savoir Café is a new Hermès-centric café and boutique concept in Orchard where you can shop for Hermès bags while indulging in food or drinks served in Hermès dishware too!
Savoir Café is a combined café slash concept store with Éclaire Atelier, a luxury consignment store in Singapore. All the bags you see displayed are largely new consignment pieces, with rare and coveted pieces available for purchase directly from the store. There’s roughly 300 Hermès items available in store, including some 60 Hermès bags, plus accessories, jewellery, shoes, wallets and a small collection of Chanel bags too.
Prices for bags start from around $3k, and all items are authenticated by Éclaire Atelier’s in-house team of experts. Even if you’re not shopping around for some new Hermès drip, you can also enjoy a luxe brunch or high tea affair in view of all the Hermès bags! All of Savoir’s food and drink items are served using Hermès dishware too.
La Savoir Butter Board, $18
Braised Angus Beef Cheek, $35
For sharing, you can go for the La Savoir Butter Board ($18) or Caviar Toast ($25), but we enjoyed the Braised Angus Beef Cheek ($35) best—the beef itself was ultra tender and flavourful, though the mashed potatoes served on the side could’ve been creamier seasoned more.
Crêpes Suzette, $16
Those with a sweet tooth can opt for the Crêpes Suzette ($16), which is a little more refreshing with the addition of tangy orange sauce. Otherwise the densely rich Matcha Brownie ($17) is a great option for matcha lovers, with a lingering, earthy matcha aroma.
Savoir Afternoon Tea ($58/pax)
Their afternoon tea set also comes in a 3-tiered tower of Hermès plates, along with your choice of tea or coffee. The set comes with a selection of sweets and savouries, but our favourite bites have got to be the Prawn Roll Brioche and Caramel Pecan Financier. While the food items aren’t exceptionally unique or mind blowing by any means, they’re definitely a luxe experience. When and where else would you get to dine using Hermès dishware, after all?
If you’re spending a leisurely afternoon at Savoir, feel free to play a game of chess with their mini Hermès chess set. For POPMART fans, Savoir even has a selection of blind boxes for sale—including the hard-to-find Labubu! Blind boxes start from $30 each, while Labubu blind boxes start from $60 each. And if you’ve purchased a bag from Savoir, you even get a Labubu for free!
