Specialty eclair café, L’éclair Pâtisserie, has just launched their new DIY high tea served on a carousel stand for just $39 nett per person!
The Merry-Go-Delice Afternoon Tea is wheeled straight to your table on a trolley, with items served atop a fancy carousel that you can actually turn, so it’s easier to spin to the items you want while you’re sharing! The high tea set is priced at $79 nett each, and can serve at least 2 persons or more, which works out to $39 nett per person!
There’s a total of 12 different sweet and savoury items, and you can even DIY your set with your choice of savouries! The Merry-Go-Delice Afternoon Tea ($79 nett per set) comes with a selection of 5 fixed signature flavours of mini eclairs, your choice of 5 savoury canapés and 2 pairs of scones.
For eclairs, you’ll get miniature versions of the Ispahan, Dark Chocolate, Mango Banana, Hazelnut and Strawberry Yogurt. Out of all the eclairs, our favourite has got to be the Ispahan, one of their most popular and best-selling flavours, with the perfect balance of subtle lychee, rose and raspberry.
Select your choice of 5 savouries from options like Caviar Blinis, Cheese Puffs, Ikura Vol-Au-Vent, Filo Brie Bites, Mini Croque Monsieur, Caramelised Onion Puff Pastry and more. Note that the set does not come with any drinks or tea, but you can order them separately from the a la carte menu (from $4) with options like specialty tea or coffee.
The Merry-Go-Delice Afternoon Tea is available for dine-in daily at 3 timeslots: 11.30am, 1.30pm and 3pm. Walk-ins for the set are not available, and you’ll need to pre-order your set online at least 1 day in advance here.
